Job Role

She has worked at Ave Maria School since 2008, having already worked in several areas within the institution, specifically in the supervision and in-depth study of the method of initiation into reading and writing.

She has worked as Deputy Director for a few years, assisting in the pedagogical management of the school and having specific responsibilities in certain functions and for certain groups of employees.

In December 2023, after Ave Maria School was integrated into Project To Be, she took over the coordination of the Social Impact Team’s local initiatives. Her role as a member of the school’s pedagogical management allows her to involve the entire educational community in this project, which she believes is fundamental to the human development of students.

Curriculum

She has a bachelor’s degree in social and Organisations Psychology from ISPA.

She completed a master’s degree in educational sciences from the Faculdade de Ciências Sociais e Humanas da Universidade Nova de Lisboa, which resulted in a thesis on methods of initiating reading and writing and in the publication of a book entitled “The Method of Initiating Reading at Ave Maria School”

Subsequently, she was invited to undertake a master’s degree in social and Organisational Psychology, preparing an article for a scientific journal in co-authorship with Professor Jorge Gomes, from ISEG.
She worked for two years in a Market Studies company in the Lisbon area, later joining the Ave Maria School, founded by her great-aunt and with a strong connection with her entire paternal side of the family.

In 2023, she began a new role as Local Coordinator of the Project To Be Social Impact Team.

Personal note

Her family has a primary and priority place in her life, especially her children.

She loves to read and to go to the beach and to hike.

She also loves to travel and to meet new places.
