Job Role

Sara is a primary school teacher at Catarina de Bragança School.

She is also the primary school´s Pedagogical Director, integrating the Pedagogical Management.

Curriculum

She has a degree in Teaching primary school from the Escola Superior de Educação Jean Piaget, she completed a master’s in educational sciences at Faculdade Lusófona, deepening her pedagogical and educational knowledge.

Throughout her career, she invested in continued education, highlighting the Pedagogical Model of the Modern School Movement and the Comprehensive School Math Programme, among other training focused on pedagogical practice.

She started at Colégio Catarina de Bragança in 2004, where she continues to contribute to the education and development of students, with dedication and experience.

Simultaneously, with her professional career, she was a professional athlete in athletics, specialising in the 100m hurdles, and studied singing at the Lisbon Conservatory of Music, reflecting a life marked by discipline, effort and passion for the arts and sport.

Personal note

Passionate about Education, she believes that it is through it that the world can be transformed. Dedicated to creating engaging, meaningful and fun learning, making the classroom and school a welcoming and inspiring place.

She loves spending time with family and friends, singing, playing sports, reading, traveling and watching films.
